This glass is a nice size and shape. I especially love the color pattern. As always these products are lightweight but stable & easy to hold. They wash nicely and are easy to take on trips.
We did a prior trial with the 8oz silipint cups in the clear-ish frosted version while looking for multi purpose unbreakable "glasses." They served the purpose well, but we decided that the clear ones took on a dingy look over time from use with wine or dark fruit juices. As much as we enjoy wild and festive colors, we didn't want our everyday glasses to look like silipint's usual hippie trip selection. The "smoke" version looks discrete and kinda classy, not as rubbery as it feels and can be set out on a dinner table without looking ridiculous! It's a WIN!!!... BONUS: the wine, cranberry juice, coffee or tea will not affect the look of these. *WISH WE COULD FIND THESE IN 8oz!!!

My teenager brought to my attention that we needed new cups for the bathrooms. Ours were old and nasty and due to their design, couldn’t be put in the dishwasher. So I knew I wanted something classy but it couldn’t be glass. These were PERFECT!!! Now each of our bathrooms has a Silipint Silicone Rocks 12oz in the smoke color. Looks like glass but so much safer if dropped as we are half asleep!!
Even more lovely in person, the daybreak color is like a stained glass fuscia and violet. I am surprised and amazed at how versatile these glasses are. I have used every day since receiving my shipment (and have already ordered more “rocks” glasses to give as gifts). I use them for hot and cold, from freezer to boiling water. It is so well insulated I can pour boiling water into my cup for herbal tea, and then pick up the glass. The silicone material makes them grippy (no slipping in my 1930’s house that *leans*), easy to hold (very important for me with neuropathy and osteoarthritis), and no worries about breaking.

These are my first grade kiddo's favorite cups. The smaller cups he feels don't hold enough so he prefers these. We don't use plastic and mainly use glass so these are great for kids.

I keep this "just the right size" cup filled with water and sip from it all day. I love the bright color and can take it out on the patio without worrying about it falling and breaking.
